Xiaomi Redmi S2 With Dual Camera, 16GB Memory might Launch in India:- Xiaomi’s new flagship smartphone Mi 6X is set to launch on 19 April in Xiaomi’s event. Another new smartphone Redmi S2 can also launch soon. This year Xiaomi has released it’s most selling mid-range Redmi series; Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro, and Redmi 5 in India. In China, the company launched the Redmi Note 5, Redmi 5 and Mi MIX 2S.
Now Xiaomi is also going to launch the Redmi S2 handset in both China and India, till now it is not known in which other countries the Redmi S2 will be released.
An XDA Developers report has revealed the specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi S2 based on firmware files obtained by Funky Huawei of FunkyHuawei.club.
According to the reports, the smartphone will have an HD+ 720×1440 pixels resolution LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Till now it is not known about the display size but it is expected to be 5.7inch.
The smartphone will be powered by the older Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, which can be seen in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, Redmi 5 Plus, Mi A1, Mi Max 2, and Redmi Note 4.
The firmware files suggest a 16GB inbuilt storage variant. There is also no information available on how much RAM the Redmi S2 will be equipped with. But it is expected to have 2GB RAM.
The smartphone is expected to have a dual rear camera with 12-megapixel Sony IMX486 sensor or the 12-megapixel OmniVision OV12A10 sensor as the main sensor.
According to the reports, the phone will also have a 5-megapixel Samsung S5K5E8 secondary sensor. The smartphone is expected to have a 5-megapixel Samsung S5K5E8 sensor for capturing selfies. The feature of the cameras could be EIS, Portrait mode, and Face Unlock.
Other major specifications of the Redmi S2 include a 3080mAh battery and Android 8.0 support. Currently, there is no information on the release date of the smartphone. But as mentioned in the files it clearly shows that the phone will launch in both India and China.
